Fusion, rings and tubes explained simply
Several of the methods on offer for strand extensions use different ways of attaching the same small piece of hair.
A small bond at the top of each strand is softened with heat and set around a section of natural hair.
Bonds are attached without a heated tool, for example by using ultrasound to join the bond to the hair.
Each section of natural hair and the extension are threaded through a small ring, which is then closed. No glue and no heat are involved.
A tiny tube slides over the join and shrinks to hold it in place.
Each has its own look, feel and upkeep, and clients ask for them by name. A course that teaches several lets you recommend the right one. If you are looking at a Manchester course, ask which of these are included on your date.
Message the provider to ask which Manchester date has a place, what is in the kit and how to get there.
